Following breakfast, we continue the cruise to Polace on Mljet island. The village of Polace is located on the north western part of the island of Mljet and offers a safe and secluded anchorage, being enclosed by other small islets. The village of Polace is small and therefore a bit limited for shopping and restaurant options. However, the area is rich in historic culture and ruins, most famously the Roman palace and walls. The island also is rich in foliage and fragrant pine forests. It is well worth a land exploration into the Mljet National Park, car or bicycle, is recommended for this. Suggested evening dinner either in a local restaurant, or on board your gulet.
